Homemade Fabric Softener


Ingredients
  • 1 cup Baking Soda
  • 1 cup water
  • 6 cups white distilled vinegar
  • 6 cup water
  • 10-15 (I use more) Drops of Essential Oils, scent of your choice
Directions 
  1. Mix ingredients in the order they are listed. Make sure your container is at least a gallon. I recommend Doing over a sink or outside. Pour Vinegar in slowly for it will react with the baking soda. After you put the second amount of water it, the "volcano effect" will stop.
  2. 1 cup for every large load and make sure you give it a good shake before adding into your laundry on the final rinse cycle.
About 13 loads
