Chicken Cordon Bleu

Ingredients
  • 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves. Pound to 1/4-1/2 inch. enough to roll chicken with stuff inside
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 6 slices ham, thick slided
  • Bread Crumbs, I prefer garlic basil
  • 2 eggs, whipped with a splash of milk
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules OR 1 cube
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • black pepper
Directions 
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Place a piece of ham and swiss cheese on each piece of chicken. Roll up and hold with a toothpick. 
  3. Melt butter and oil together in pan (a stainless steal is preferred so you can put it in the oven). While the oil/butter is warming up, dip each chicken breast into the egg mix and then the bread crumbs. Place into pan when butter is melted. 
  4. Cook in pan until whole piece of chicken is nice and golden brown. Around 10-15 minutes  Transfer chicken to the oven to finish cooking. Around 20 minutes.
  5. The last ten minutes of cooking time for the chicken, Mix together wine, heavy whipping cream, chicken bouillon granules, cornstarch and pepper (to taste). Cook for 10 minutes on Medium-High. stiring occasionally.
  6. When Chicken is done, plate and top with cream sauce :)
This dish is actually quite simple. First time making it will take longer but its fairly easy.
